I've heard rumours that we're supposed to have a huge winter storm this weekend, but I'll only believe the Weatherman once I actually see the snow falling for myself, and I am forced to take out my shovel.
Frost
Thursday, December 9, 2010
Over the weekend we had a thin layer of frost on the ground, which is about the most we've gotten so far. While I am counting my blessings that I don't have to trench through knee-deep snow - YET - I kind of miss that ethereal winter-esque look that we got so used to when we spent our holidays in Quebec City last year. I took advantage of the early morning sunshine by stepping out on the porch to take these photographs, and while they took mere minutes, my fingers were totally frozen by the time I came in.
