Simple Things

Saturday, November 13, 2010

After a whirlwind week, Friday was finally my day to unwind and do everything except anything related to school. Since I had the day to myself, I spent the morning running errands for the house, and even though the rest of the day remained busy with cleaning, baking, and other mundane activities, I realized that I still found solace around our home in the simplest of things.

{My favourite candles from Bath & Body Works: previously blogged about here}

{Homemade face mask with egg-whites and fresh lemon}

{Summer's long gone, but even cold weather can't take away from the beauty of nature}

{Baking cupcake bites à la here}

{A gorgeous silk blouse I wore for a university event on Friday night}
