First my hands were submerged into icy fresh and clear water. This special kind of water is so unique and rare that a lot of people don't have access to it around the world! It's like, A-list treatment.
Good thing I had lots of it. *Splash splash!*
Then these uber-exquisite exfoliant beads (flown in from northern Canada) were gently scrubbed onto my palm and fingers in a delicate circular motion. It took away all the stress that my innocent little hands face all day.
*Scrub scrub!*
Then my hands were cleansed in that icy fresh water again, removing all traces of exfoliants and leaving only soft and supple skin behind. Seriously, no hundred-dollar cream could do justice - I've never felt my hands any softer!
The five minute spa treatment made me realize how lucky I am to be soooo wealthy and rich and all other adjectives for being extremely wealthy and rich. 884 million people* around the world don't even have what I have! I am grateful every day.
So while I wish I could say that all the above was true, and that I was actually at an expensive spa retreat set in an all-natural oasis, I was actually just at Algonquin Park a few weeks ago, giving myself a hand treatment using icy fresh and clear lake water and sand.
You should be grateful for it, too.
*884 million people lack access to safe water supplies; approximately one in eight people.
